Vancouver BC is a fantastic city filled with such diversity. It is one of the more under-rated places I have been to and should be on everyone’s radar.

Less than a two-hour flight from San Francisco, this international city is filled with incredible Asian cuisine and fresh seafood, beautiful hikes amid snow-capped mountains, gorgeous views along the waterfront, scenic routes on the way to Whistler, lots of bike friendly lanes and vibrant street art and architecture. Grab some snacks at the Granville Island Public Market (you can even take a water taxi over there!)

A stay at the Opus hotel is a straight shot from the airport on the train and puts you right along the water for water taxis and right in the middle of Yaletown’s outdoor patio scene filled with restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Be sure to check out craft beer from Superflux when in town from some amazing juicy IPA’s and make sure you carve out time for a drive up to Whistler – the views are pristine and there are some incredible long hikes with spectacular views (in addition to the snow resort).
